Unicredit Bank
Unicredit SpA is a European bank based in Milan, Italy. The bank has over 28,000,000 customers and operates in 19 countries. The core of their operations is in Italy, Austria and southern Germany. Founded as early as 1473 as Rolo Banca, in the 1990s it became one of the largest banking institutions in Italy. It provides financial services and employs around 140,000 employees. It is also known as Unicredit Group or UniCredito.
Unicredit Bank was created by the merger of two banks, namely HVB Bank Slovakia a.s. and Unibanky in 2007. Since 2013, the bank has been operating in Slovakia and the Czech Republic under the same name Unicredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a. s. Unicredit Bank is one of the largest banks in Slovakia and its branches are located in every region.
